Work Schedule : 5 days a week / 8 hours a day
JOB SUMMARY:
Role
- Development and management of Tariffs
- Develop and implement synergies with other power / water players in the UAE
- Develop and maintain cooperation framework to enable / foster profitable trading deals
Key dimensions
- Develop tariff structure which must:
- Mitigate cost risk (e.g.: Fuel costs…)
- Drive customers’ behaviours
- Capitalize on other jurisdictions’ best practices
- Maximize profitability within COMPANY license framework
- Develop and utilize modeling tools
- Validate / challenge modelling output
In order to ensure effective integration:
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Sector cost structure / operations
- Develop clear understanding of suppliers and customers businesses Identification
- Prepare / participate / manage negotiations
Develop bi-literal agreements with other States to enable trading
Ensure that COMPANY plays an informed / proactive stakeholder role in the development / implementation of the trading platform
Develop and administer mandates and limits for trading
Design and implement KPIs
Interacts with :
Finance
- Demonstrate and safeguard profitability
- Enable effective billing cycle.
Department of Energy
- Maintain effective tariff policy
- Facilitate annual tariff approval
