Our Client is looking for an HSE Officer / HSE Engineer ( Railway )

Terms & Condition:

Assignment : Contract Hire (contracted through MPH to work for the company)

Work Location : Dubai, UAE

Duration : 12 Months

Work Status : Resident, Single

Work Schedule : 6 days a week / 10 hours a day

Mandatory Requirements ( Candidates should have below requirements )

With UAE driving license. Saudi or Omani license can be considered.
Rail experience is mandatory (not power or oil & gas ) on two different projects minimum. But not for construction /civil companies.
The candidates shall have experience in track installation including testing, train movements on the track, electrification of the track, etc... Tunnel experience is mandatory.
With scaffolding expertise and Environment hazard experience.
With strong personality, able to speak out when they think there is an HSE issue.

Purpose of the Job

Safety Officer : Maintain safety culture and ensure Company HSE plan is implemented

Responsibilities

The safety officer is responsible to do the site inspection and prepare the report.
Check the work permits.
High risk activities (lifting – hot work – working at height – traffic management – electric
Induct the new labors.
Take the necessary measurement and using of safety devices like gas monitoring, heat stress tracker and noise meter…etc.
Report all accident / incident.
Induce the safety culture in workers and Staff.
Stop unsafe activity
Escalate the safety violations and non compliances
Ensure safety plan implementation on site

Behavioral Skills / Competencies

5 years’ experience in construction projects and rail projects ( MANDATORY experience )
English is a must Arabic/Hindi /Urdu is advantage.
Firefighting – first aid training are required.
