SUPPORT WORKER – WEST BYFLEET, SURREY - £9.00 p/h – STARTING ASAP
Forest Care Selection is working in partnership with a regional care provider, that specialises in supporting adults with physical disabilities and complex care needs. They are looking to appoint a support worker for their medium sized residential service based in West Byfleet, Surrey. The service caters for adults who have a range of physical disabilities and complex care needs, including Autism/ASD, Epilepsy & Head/Brain Injuries.
A support worker role can be amongst the most rewarding of careers and takes committed, empathetic and determined individuals who can adapt to daily changes and challenges. The main aim will be to promote health and well-being to the clients, whilst promoting their independence.
In order to be successful as a support worker you will need to have an empathetic approach when working with the clients and should have a passion for providing exceptional levels of care. You should ideally have 6/12 months experience working as a support worker in a similar residential setting and be willing to engage in ongoing training. The residential service is a 24/7 service, so you will be required to work a mixture of days/nights and weekends, based on a rota.
You will be rewarded with an hourly salary in excess of £9.00 and will have the opportunity to progress your career, working with a reputable company.
