Basic Job Function:

 

This position exists to

1. Design, implement and project manage Managed Technology Services product and technology strategies

2. Identify, evaluate and recommend best of breed technology approaches to solve customer problems

3. Interface directly with MTS customers to gather requirements and deliver solutions

4. Identify and deliver on incremental revenue opportunities|

 

Accountabilities:

1. Execute the overarching client hosting and Managed Technology Services product vision and strategies, responding to the market opportunities and directions as articulated by the overall Practice Management global strategy

2. Introduce technology related services that complement our core legal and corporate market products resulting in incremental revenue opportunities

3. Utilize the expertise, experience, strengths, and market reputation of our technology related competencies to attract clients

4. Oversee the implementation and ongoing life cycle of client related hosting, network, consulting, and managed technology services. This includes areas such as, customer requirements gathering, custom services product planning and cost analysis, processes and procedures, and ongoing client relations as they pertain to aforementioned services

5. Proactively monitor and assess industry/technology advancements and alliances, looking for ways to leverage existing capabilities and emerging technologies. In addition to external opportunities, identify existing internal capabilities that can be leveraged to advance our service offerings

6. Develop business cases for new technology services as required|

 

1. Masters in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience preferred

2. 10 years of experience executing technology strategies and project managing strategic level programs and/or initiatives

3. 10 years of experience project managing cross-functional corporate level initiatives and delivering on technology services and strategies with an emphasis on market and product excellence and external customer interaction

4. Proven ability of leading a wide range of diverse LexisNexis and customer initiatives such as: client network planning and designs, custom technology services, alternative implementation approaches, pricing, and business planning

5. Proven ability to make decisions or tradeoffs among complex alternatives with limited information to meet emerging or current opportunities
