Care Assistant (CAR0208) Scarborough, England
Castle Education are looking for an experienced care worker to work within a care assistant role in a residential setting.
If you are compassionate, caring and want to make a difference to someones life through support with daily activities and general care duties then this role is currently available immediately with full time and part time options available.
The Company
You will be working in the beautiful town of Scarborough within a residential setting and working for a very highly recommended company to provide care nationally. The company have residential services in a variety of locations and have developed excellent customer feedback and reputation.
The role will involve:
One to one sessions with service users and the ability to effectively communicate with them through listening and talking. You will also assist the service users with various personal roles including cleaning, shopping and generally engaging within the wider community to promote social interaction. You will also be required to maintain and update care plans for service users every six months and also providing updates to family and friends.
Requirements of the role:
Health and social care experience and relevant qualifications
Additional experience and training such as, Autism, Challenging behaviour, Learning disabilities, Safeguarding and Epilepsy.
Full training will be given upon appointment to the role in relation to certain activities and duties required.
