Salary: GBP24000 - GBP35000 per annum

Castle Education are seeking an experienced Joinery and Carpentry Programme Leader in the Scarborough area. The role is a permanent full time role within a thriving department in an outstanding college.

The Joinery and Carpentry Programme Leader will support students from the workplace and within the college environment through to the completion of their courses. As a Joinery and Carpentry Programme Leader you will be delivering high class education and training from Entry Level up to and including Level 3. This role will involve the exciting prospect of being an integral element in the student's career aspirations and thriving Construction team within Further Education.

In the role of Joinery and Carpentry Programme Leader you should have a Joinery or Carpentry background and relevant subject specific qualifications at Level 3 and/or 4 and experience of working in the industry is an expectation. It is also useful to have an assessor and/or IQA award but this is not essential.

It would be advantageous to have relevant teaching qualifications (PTLLS, PGCE, Level 3 Award in Education and Training) and experience in the classroom would also be beneficial. You will also be subject to an enhanced DBS process if successful and other compliance checks in line with the sector requirements.
