Out of School Club Childcare Practitioner

Out of School Club Childcare Practitioner (OOS2517) Scarborough, England

Are you a caring, passionate, hardworking childcare enthusiast eager to support the growth and development of children from Babies up to 14 year old's. Castle Education are seeking some enthusiastic individuals to work in a local childcare setting for the out of school club provision.

Candidates must be fun loving and committed to providing a variety of activities that will stimulate the children's interests and enhance their learning. A Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification would be an advantage and knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage would also help you in this type of role. You will be working with young children to engage them in activities which will stimulate their learning and development. 

The role is temporary with flexible hours, usually covering 07:30 - 09:15 and then 2:45 - 18:00 although during holidays you could do up to 37 hours a week. This role could also turn to permanent for the right candidate.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility and availability for split shifts around school opening hours
  • A willingness to work with children of Primary age and below
  • An awareness of EYFS and Primary curriculum
  • To safeguard young children
