Castle Education are recruiting for a support worker who is enthusiastic, confident, committed and kind with a good sense of humour to support 2 young people in their late 20's who share a home.

You would be required to support them to attend work, leisure actives and enjoy family and socialising but they also need some support to live independently.

Personal care is a very small element of the role.  You could be supporting with horse riding lessons, craft activities, a trip to the Water Park, fairground or helping with a shopping trip.

This is not a 9-5 job and no two days are ever the same, you will work hard but go home with a feeling that you have made a difference in 2 people lives.

You don’t need previous experience but a caring nature and a desire to encourage independence and well-being.

You must be a driver with your own transport to provide transportation within the role.  You will also work within a rolling team so the rota hours are flexible, the post is 64 hours over a 4 week period which can be days, evenings and weekends, In addition you will required to ‘sleep over’ a minimum of 3 times within a 4 week period, paid at £56.95 for an 8.5 hour sleepover.
