Primary Teacher's required, Immediate starts and January starts available
Castle Education are currently recruiting for qualified primary teachers for local schools in and around the Scarborough and surrounding areas. We work with a number of local primary schools, helping them with their temporary and permanent staffing needs across a range of subjects. As a result, we are looking to work with outstanding teachers in the local area who are looking to work either on a temporary day to day basis or who are looking to take on a new, permanent challenge for the new year.
The successful candidates will be qualified and experienced in working across the primary sector, with specialisms in either early years, KS1 or KS2 and will be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and have determination and flexibility, a positive attitude and the desire to ensure a positive learning experience for the children in their class, at all times.
All placements will be subject to obtaining an enhanced DBS.
The skills, experience and qualities we are looking for include :-
> A relevant teaching qualification, with qualified teacher status ( NQT's are welcome to apply)
> Enthusiasm for teaching, as well as proven, outstanding subject knowledge
> Commitment to working with pupils of different backgrounds and different levels of ability
> Strong classroom management skills
> Marking and monitoring pupil's work; assess and record pupils progress
> Demonstrate an appropriate range of teaching strategies and resources
> Build on the prior knowledge and attainment of those you teach in order that learners meet learning objectives and make sustained progress
