Castle Education are looking for experienced mobile care workers to work as mobile care assistants within Scarborough and surrounding areas. 

If you are compassionate, caring and want to make a difference to someones life through support with daily activities and general care duties then this role is currently available immediately with part time options available and incentives.

You must have your own transport to be considered.

The Company

You will be working in the Scarborough area with a specialist provider of social care to support people living in their own homes. The company offer training and incentives to promote work satisfaction. This company also celebrates and promotes a positive, personal and professional service and this company is a growing provider of care across the North Yorkshire area demonstrating excellent reputation.

The role will involve:

Supporting clients in their own homes to promote client choice, independence, dignity, privacy, fulfilment and other rights. You will work flexible shifts to support clients with everyday routines such as; getting up in the morning and going to bed on a night. Travel is also a key aspect of the role so transport will be essential although the company offers mileage allowances and travel time as part of the salary. This role could be up to 25 hours per week but you are able to identify availability around your own personal needs making it a suitable job for people to work round other commitments.

Requirements of the role:

Driving Licence and Transport is essential.

Health and social care experience and relevant qualifications.

Additional experience and training such as; Manual Handling, Health and Safety and Safeguarding would be advantageous but is not essential.

Full training will be given upon appointment to the role in relation to certain activities and duties required.
