Painting and Decorating Teacher and Assessor (P&D291) Scarborough, England
Castle Education are looking to recruit a Painting and Decorating Teacher to support the next generation of this trade in a real to life environment for skills and training.
The role is full time and would involve working for a local Further Education provider with excellent reputation in relation to developing vocational skills. The role would involve teaching against the course syllabus and specification and meeting national standards through assessment. You must be eligible to work in the UK and successful placement will be subject to being granted or holding a valid DBS.
As a Tutor, you will be confident in the use and maintenance of relevant tools and equipment and will be confident with Health and Safety legislation. You will also be experienced as a Painter and able to demonstrate the relevant skills and techniques associated with current practices.
You will also be the assessor for the qualifications and will have knowledge of assessment and strategies to support the assessment process.
The role also has the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.
Key requirements for the role:
A1 Assessor Award or equivalent
Level 3 Award Education and Training or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Vocational experience and qualifications.
In return for your experience and skills, benefits include good hourly rates between £15.00 and £26.00 per hour.
