Located in the Beautiful town of Scarborough on the North Yorkshire Coast, Castle Education are recruiting for a small friendly college. Which is officially the only outstanding provider of Further Education in Scarborough.
We are looking for a committed and dynamic Programme Leader in Beauty and Related Therapies to join us at an exciting moment in its development as we develop our brand.
We have an exciting opportunity for a PL in Beauty Therapy to join our organisation to work primarily with students engaged across a range of courses providing a high level of support needed to achieve their programme of study.
The post holders will need to be innovative in their teaching methods and responsible for aspects of leadership within the curriculum.
With previous experience of teaching subject specialism and of working with a wide range of students, the successful candidates will have a background in Further Education and will be capable of working with students of all ages in classroom, workshop and one to one situations, including students from 16 to 19+.
A subject specialist qualification at a minimum of level 3 / 4 is essential and you should hold a Certificate of Education/PGCE or be willing to work towards this.
- A Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
- NVQ Beauty Therapy up to Level 3
- Full Teaching Qualifications i.e. Cert Ed, C&G7407 ,CTTLS,DTTLS or be willing to work towards them
- Excellent Classroom management skills.
