Castle Education are seeking to appoint a passionate individual with a dedicated and innovative approach to teaching Maths. As a Maths specialist you would be promoting and developing attainment in this essential life skill. The role would be part-time initially with scope to become permanent and is a unique opportunity to work in a bespoke environment to promote KS4 and 5 Maths. The role also has a competitive rate of salary in recognition of the skill set required.
The client can offer a real work environment with excellent resources and accommodation and support to offer further training and development. The ethos of the organisation involves building and engaging in effective relationships with external partners. It is based in North Yorkshire in the lovely town of Malton, which is within commuting distance of Middlesborough, York and Hull. Re-location packages could be considered for the right candidate.
The role requires some excellent subject knowledge and vocational experience including;
- A Degree in Maths.
- Relevant Professional qualifications
It would also be desirable to have the following but these are not essential:
- QTS, PGCE or alternative Teaching Qualifications
- Experience working with apprentices
- An Engineering background
