Castle Education are seeking to appoint relief support workers for Saturday shifts (Daytime) to work with adults and children who suffer from different types of learning difficulties or disabilities.
If you are looking for a role to fit around other commitments or a flexible role that will give you an overwhelming feeling of joy as you support people to live with as much independence as possible then this role could be for you.
The role does have hours available during the week but Saturday shifts are a real opportunity to diversify your own skills and experience and you will feel like you are making a difference.
The rate of pay is also extremely competitive!
Common tasks include supporting people to: –
- Get out and about, take part in hobbies and leisure activities
- Participate in activities with other service users
- Support individuals to access facilities
- Support in the community
- Occasional personal care
- Socialising and building effective relationships and rapport with individuals
We need individuals who have experience in this type of role but would welcome teachers, SEN specialists and Carers too.
