Teaching Assistant (1-1 and SEND)
An excellent position has arisen for a qualified teaching assistant with experience of supporting young pupils one to one. The school we are working with are based in the Scarborough area and are ideally looking for a teaching assistant experienced working within Secondary Schools. This role would start as part-time with the possibility of progression to full time.
With a focus on providing one to one support and supporting a young pupil to progress in their key stage 3 and 4 studies.
Supply teaching assistant positions are an excellent way of getting to know a school and they can often lead to a permanent roles. You will be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting pupils and have determination and flexibility, a positive attitude and the desire to ensure a positive learning experience for the children in your care at all times.
This position is within a very supportive school environment. The placement will be subject to obtaining an enhanced DBS on the update service.

Is a skilled, enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant
Has an innovative, creative approach to supporting young pupils
Is committed to the provision of outstanding learning experiences for all pupils
Has an excellent understanding of strategies to support challenging behavior and SEN
Has high expectations of pupils within their studies
Is good humoured, a team player and a passionate about education!
