Castle Education are recruiting for a Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) Practitioner for a local FE College.

The role works closely with the learning support team to assess and diagnose specific learning difficulties. Based on the diagnosis support plans are then devised to indicate learning needs and appropriate strategies to support learners within the classroom. The role also facilitates exam arrangements.

The role is a maternity leave post FTC with a salary of £30k

Qualifications and experience required: -

Postgraduate Award of Proficiency in Assessment for Access Arrangements (PAPAA)

Teaching Qualification

Level 7 qualification in Dyslexia Tuition

Knowledge of the Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) process and SEND provision
