Castle Education are seeking to appoint a Learner Success Coach to work within an Outstanding college in North Yorkshire.
The role is an opportunity to work with young people and mature learners to support their learner journey and career aspirations. The role is to engage with learners to promote employability and social skills through enjoyment in activities and opportunities.
The role involves working with the learner groups and individuals to set and record plans and targets to promote success and achievement.
This role is full time and fixed term (Maternity Cover)
Qualifications:-
- English and Maths - Minimum Level 2
- PTTL’s or willingness to train within the first 2 years
- First Aid Qualification or willingness to undertake
- Educated to a degree level
- IT qualification
- A recognised assessment and/or verification qualification is desirable
Additional knowledge and experience:-
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of relevant safeguarding legislation & requirements
- Knowledge of behavioural management techniques
- Knowledge of further education establishments and the specific support of FE learners
- Knowledge suitable for the delivery of enrichment activities
