My client on the West side of Madison is seeking a Senior-Level .NET/Angular 2 developer to join their organization.  They need someone with Angular 2 experience who can execute architecture plans in place.  This client are a Microsoft shop and most applications are in .NET.  The ideal candidate will be a Senior-level developer with exposure to architecture.   This client offers competitive pay and opportunities for growth and advancement.

Job Description

Develop, design, enhance, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application solutions involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives and technology stack
  • Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource
  • Work with onshore and offshore development resources on day to day tasks such as design discussions, code review etc
  • Represent technical team in SDLC for Waterfall as well as Agile project methodologies
  • Monitor and enhance the stability and performance of the existing applications
  • Collaborate with Business team, Infrastructure, developers, etc


Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 5-6 years relevant experience preferred.
    KSAs
    Has expert-level knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within one or more particular field/language (i.e., Angular 2 or higher, ASP.NET MVC, TypeScript and jQuery). HTML, CSS, C# and JavaScript, SQL and various graphic design software packages also helpful.
    Customer/Technical Support
    Works with help desk staff to establish procedures, answer questions, and establish a knowledgebase for each web application.
    Responsible for the design of individual systems.
    Identifies the business requirements of internal and external customers
    Develops technical designs to fulfil those requirements.
    Designs the visual layout for websites or web-based products with the goal of enhancing appeal to the user while maximizing functionality.
    Designs html prototypes, visual interfaces and interaction of web-based applications.
    Works with the product development team to design online user experiences.
    Ensures user experience is formulated to fulfil the business requirements of internal and external customers.
    Develops Proof of Concept (POC) and model projects.
    Handles the development of core application components and complex features.
    Troubleshoots, debugs and implements software code.
    Identifies and evaluates new technologies and approaches. Provides instruction on applicable technologies to the team.
    Reviews and recommends diagnoses and repair plans.
    Works with Application Development Manager to approve enhancement requests.
    Escalates issues as required.
    Reports findings and steps taken back to the help desk so it may be communicated to the original reporter.
