 Insight Modelling Analyst
Location: --Reading
Salary: GBP39000 - GBP40000 per annum + benefits
We are seeking Insight Modelling Analyst to work alongside the Marketing team based in our Reading office.
Job purpose:
◦Builds, maintains, and rebuilds a suite of statistical models that underpin all contact targeting.
◦Builds segmentation models that determine contact approach
◦Analyses UK performance data to provide improved and actionable insight to product, proposition and business
Responsibility:
◦Provide ad hoc analysis of performance and marketing data in support of the UK GTM Management Team
◦Design, build and delivery of product propensity models for both acquisition and xsell/upsell – for all existing products
◦Design, build and delivery of risk models to determine customers most likely to cancel either all or part of their advertising
◦Design, build an delivery of proposition models to determine which propositions work best with each customer group / segment
◦Design , build and delivery of channel specific models to determine which products, with which proposition deliver the greatest conversion for each channel
◦New build of models as new products and propositions become available and when existing models begin to degrade
◦Tracking of model performance to determine ongoing suitability
◦Ensure all models are scored correctly to the marketing database
◦Communication of underlying model drivers to wider stakeholder community
Experience, Qualifications and skills required for the role:
◦A degree in statistics, econometrics or quantitative field
◦5+ years experience in Data Mining
◦Strong statistical modeling expertise including logistic regression, tree based algorithms, survival analysis, time series analysis
◦Strong SAS, SPSS, or KXEN skills
◦Experience of predictive modeling to support acquisition, risk, and cross selling
◦Experience with Data Manipulation
◦Planning and Organising skills
◦Experience delivering Results
◦Strategic Thinking skills
