IT Architect
Objectives of the job:
* Delivers high-value IT solutions / architectures, aligned with business strategy and IT standards / policies / budget / timeframe.
* Assists project teams during the lifecycle of the projects.
* Streamlines the Applications portfolio / Optimizes the IT Infrastructure.
* Defines strategy / long term vision / roadmap of IT “components”.
Function:
* Run / applies the governance of IT Architecture department. Run architecture practices aiming at mastering the application landscape and support project solutions aligned with standards, business and IT strategies.
* Ensures that solutions delivered by IT are compliant with IT standards and policies (GRS, architecture, documentation, …).
* Supports and advises the IT management to take decisions (architecture board).
* Challenges demands / masters costs impact.
* Uses knowledge of IT strategy to ensure cross-projects consistency.
* Maintains architecture documentation (cartography) for Applications and Infrastructure.
* Participates to the definition of IT standards.
* Delivers quality / brings additional value through innovative solutions.
* Manages / participates to technology studies, innovation initiatives or strategic studies.
* Contributes to efficient knowledge management by sharing knowledge with other team members.
Required Knowledge
* Education (orientation): ICT, Business, Finance, Economics
* Education (level): Bac+5 or equivalent
* Experience: Minimum 3 years
* Laguages: French & English
* IT Tools: Sound knowledge of process design tools (Visio). Proficient use of MS Office.
* Other required knowledge & experience: Sound knowledge of Infrastructure / middleware components. Sound Knowledge of architecture design, best practices and methodologies.
* Other requirements: Ability to work independently and collaboratively - Must be organized and have an “eye” for detail - Sense of innovation - Excellent writing / communication skills (a major task of the architect is to communicate complex technical information to all stakeholders of the project, including those who do not have a technical background).
