Finance Manager – North East – Initially 12 months
Advantage Resourcing are currently working with a leading government organisation who are actively recruiting for a Finance Manager to support the financial management, strategic decision making and financial capability for the digital arena.

This excellent Finance Manager opportunity will involve:
- Provide sound financial advice and management, challenging and supporting Directors and budget holders
- Develop a full understanding of the policies and cost drivers that influence spend, ensuring they are monitored at an appropriate level
- Develop and implement actions to improve the accuracy of management information, ensuring that any forecasts are based on central forecasts
- Proactively engage with Senior Management teams to inform and shape spending plans and investment decisions, ensuring they represent value for money and are within spending control totals

The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A finance qualification such as CIMA/ACCA or equivalent experience
- Strong experience of working ideally with central government organisation
- The ability to business partner and build relationships with different areas of the business
- Experience of working on change programmes
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong excel skills
