(VB6, VB.NET Windows and Web applications, SQL scripts and Stored Procedures) My midlands based client is looking for a experienced VB6 / VB.net developer for a undertake system changes to VB6, VB.NET Windows and Web applications. Changes to SQL scripts and Stored Procedures will also be required. Providing analytical and programming skills across a range of platforms. You will be tasked with translating business requirements into code and applications, developing, testing and implementing code to team and IT Industry standards, and communicating effectively at all levels; within the team, and with other systems departments. A significant amount of experience of developing with an enterprise-scale databases such as Informix, DB2, Oracle and large-scale SQL Server deployments - to include SQL and Store Procedure/Functions. Also any commercial experience of developing on UNIX systems and experience of administrating and/or developing solutions with MOSS 2007.
