Java Developer (Senior) - Java 8, OO, Spring, SQL, Agile - Stockport
A senior level Java developer is sought by this leading software organisation developing a range of enterprise-wide insurance and financials based systems and applications
Working within their Java based development team, you will be responsible for the development and design of key applications, using a range of Java and associated web-based technologies
You will have at least 4 years core Java knowledge, having developed components using Spring, EJB3 or similar technologies, and in a Test driven / JUnit based environment. You should have a good understanding of SQL with a solid knowledge of OO and design principles.
Further knowledge of Agile practices/ CI, Web development (HTML, JQuery, etc) and web services would all be useful, although excellent training will be provided.
Will suit an experienced Java developer seeking a step-up in a supportive and technically interesting software house environment. Will also have an opportunity to team lead / mentor juniors, if sought.
