Salary: GBP32000 - GBP39000 per annum + excellent company benefits
An exciting opportunity for a technically focused Service Team Manager to join our highly successful client, a world leader in embedded digital security, based in North Gloucestershire. If you are an experienced team leader and customer service manager from within a technical environment, with the experience of motivating a team and track record of ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction we would love to hear from you! Ideally you will have worked with large blue-chip clients and know how to manage your team’s performance in order to achieve the best possible results.

What does the role involve?
The key components of the role will comprise of Team Management, including areas such as training, performance management, setting targets and recruitment; Priority and Issue Management, managing priority requests, liaising closely with internal departments and the customers to resolve issues, making priory calls, supporting decision making and managing first level escalations, and Customer Satisfaction, which will involve taking responsibility for maximising customer satisfaction, ensuring the meeting of service level agreements and championing customer initiatives and requirements within the business. Further tasks will center around Change and Project Management, Internal Business Process Management and Quality and Continuous Improvement.

What are the skills and experience required?
The ideal candidate will come with solid experience from within a customer management or commercial role in a busy customer facing environment with experience of managing complex service offers. You need to be an experienced team leader with ideally a management qualification. We’ll be looking for someone with strong commercial acumen, management reporting & analysis experience, project management skills and of course excellent communication skills across all levels and accomplished leadership and problem-solving skills. The experience of having worked in a global organization coupled with French language skills would be of advantage.

What does the role offer?
This permanent and full-time role offers a salary of between £32 – 39K pa, plus excellent company benefits and will involve some occasional travel within the UK or Europe.
