We are seeking a talented Magento 2 developer to join our client, an award-winning digital agency with offices in Cheltenham. If you are passionate about the internet and would like a role which allows you to develop and push the boundaries of what is possible this is the job for you!
Working within a friendly, close-knit team the successful candidate will be responsible for building bespoke Magento websites and custom Magento modules, scoping projects and creating technical specifications whilst also being in charge of server optimisation and management, security updates and maintenance of sites.
The ideal candidate will come with a proven track record of 7+ years of commercial experience in front-end and back-end programming with advanced knowledge of building ecommerce websites using Magento. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be comfortable working and communicating with clients, demonstrate good time management skills and come with the ambition to improve as a developer whilst exploring new boundaries.
Technical Skills required:
• Excellent knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Less and JavaScript
• Experience of Magento 2 in production environments
• Knowledge of Magento 2 platform server optimisation
• Experience with Git VCS (version control system)
• Comfortable in a Linux server environment managing server configuration
This is a permanent and full-time role on offer for an attractive salary of £40 – 50K pa, dependant on experience, plus the chance to join a vibrant and friendly team.
