We are seeking a talented Account Director to join our award-winning Cotswolds based client. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience of leading a large client account and 5 years’ of working within direct marketing or an integrated agency environment alongside a natural passion for creative and working with data.
What will the role involve?
Working on one of the agency’s key retail accounts, the purpose of the role will be to oversee the development and delivery of eDM, DM and digital projects. It is a very fast-paced and dynamic account, which will need strong hands-on leadership, strategic management of multiple projects and ever changing requirements plus the management of a large team. In close collaboration with your team and colleagues you will be responsible for the profitability, growth and direction of the account. It will be your job to drive results, deliver brilliant creative and excellent quality of work produced by the account team which will meet and exceed your client’s expectation, adding value to their business.
What skills and experience are required?
This will require someone with solid account management experience, the ability to act as a key contact and advisor to the client as well as the agency team in order to deliver an end product that meets the client’s as well as the agency’s expectations and objectives. We’ll be looking for someone with excellent communication skills across all levels, the ability to pro-actively take a leading role, whether it be taking a client meeting, leading a project or business opportunity. You’ll need to be highly numerate to handle forecasting, budgeting and costings and have an in depth understanding of data driven CRM and loyalty with a good understanding of how to optimize all marketing channels and using all kinds of data.
