We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Customer Manager to join our highly successful client, a world leader in their field, based in Gloucestershire. The role would suit someone who has worked for a small amount of time with software or telecoms in a technical role and now wants to develop into a more commercially focused function.

The role will involve working closely with customers within the telecoms industry, understanding their technical requirements and advising and supporting them appropriately throughout the engagement, providing commercial support, product advice and project coordination throughout.

The ideal candidate will come with experience from within a technical environment such as telecoms, software or IT and will have had customer relationship management, support or project management experience. Telecoms industry knowledge would be of benefit, especially with mobile service providers or mobile operators.

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent within Computer Science / Software Engineering or similar and be a techie at heart. You don’t need to have all of these skills but the more experience you have in project management, customer support, time management and problem-solving the better. You’ll also need to be a good team player and have excellent communication skills across all levels.

This is a permanent and full time on offer for an attractive salary of between £28 – 35K plus excellent benefits.
