Our highly successful client based in the heart of the Cotswold is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support the delivery of database projects to one of their key clients. This may well suit candidates with experience from within IT Development or Testing or a technical account handler from within a marketing agency with experience of working with data and in particular MS SQL Server. This full-time and permanent role is on offer for a salary of up to £30K pa plus attractive benefits and the chance to join a well-established, exciting and innovative organization.
Supporting the Database Delivery Director, the successful candidate will be assisting with the delivery of a database solution/service that is fit for purpose, GDPR compliant and using the latest security features and technology. You will be tasked with ensuring that all work is delivered on time, to brief and of high quality which will involve planning, scheduling, documenting and supporting internal and 3rd party resources.
We’ll be looking for candidates with highly effective communication and relationship building skills and the ability to deal with clients, colleagues and third-party stakeholders across all levels. We’ll be looking for a proven track record of having successfully managed large technical projects within a fast-moving environment. You’ll need to be an excellent problem solver, a multi-tasker, excellent planner and organizer and a good team worker. In terms of technical requirements, you will need to have good experience of MS SQL Server (2008 and above), MS Word and Excel, an understanding of relational database and complex data structures and knowledge of data driven digital marketing systems including web sites and direct communication channels.
