Events Manager - part time - 28 hrs per week - £30K pa pro rata plus attractive benefits
On behalf of our client, a prolific, not for profit organisation based in the North Cotswolds, we are seeking a dynamic Events Manager to join their marketing department on a part time basis, working 28 hours per week. Key purpose of the role will be to organise and manage both internal and external marketing events on behalf of the organisation.
Working as an integral member of the marketing team the successful candidate will be tasked with organising and manging two key annual external events, regional networking events, laboratory open days, monthly webinars as well as additional external events and exhibitions. This will require effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, liaising with key participants, VIPs and speakers, choice and management of venues, delegate bookings, budget management and much more.
The ideal candidate will come with proven experience from within an events management role, either in-house or agency side, confident communication and networking skills and effective and strong project management and organisational skills. You will be able to multitask and work to tight deadlines with a strong eye for detail and accuracy and come with a professional, flexible, outgoing and engaging attitude.
