Comms & PR Exec

Comms & PR Exec (BBBH1623) Cheltenham, England

Salary: GBP26000 - GBP32000 per annum
A lovely client-side role with a local success story in the high tech industry. Our client have instructed us to introduce a skilled writer to their business, a comms specialist ideally with some previous PR experience.

You’ll be working in a small team in support of a highly experienced Marketing Manager in Cheltenham. You’ll need three years plus experience in a similar comms or PR based role. Ideally you will have been working with IT or technology generally but any complex business process will be acceptable as long as you have a genuine interest in IT / Tech. As a person it’s likely you’ll be a stickler for accuracy and probably a grammar pedant! You’ll be used to working to deadlines, take pride in your work and be familiar with brand and tone of voice guidelines.

Although offered support, especially in the early stages of your new role, you’ll be the sort of person who can work autonomously, offering fresh ideas and opportunities to raise the profile of the business without prompt. A good network of local, regional and trade press contacts already exists but you will be expected to maintain these and seek out fresh contacts in new verticals from time to time.
