Senior Project Engineer (JO013714) Doha, Qatar
- Responsible for leading and coordinating Project Management Teams formed to provide complete project management services to execute assigned projects in offshore fields from inception to completion and handover. This includes managing and controlling all stages of the projects which are front-end engineering, detailed engineering, material procurement, construction, installation, hook-up, commissioning and handover to the asset holder

- Prepare and implement Project Execution, HSE and QA/QC plans for each project assigned to him.
- Participate in Project Planning, Cost Control, Budgeting, Contract Administration, Project Reporting, Change Management and Gate Approval activities.
- Coordinate a team of multidiscipline engineers to achieve a cost effective design through timely resolution of technical and engineering issues in coordination with all relevant company stakeholders.
- Participate in the preparation of tender packages, tendering process, evaluation of tenders and submissions with appropriate recommendations to relevant tender committees.
- Maintain risk registers and related registers by updating them in order to ensure that risks are managed and mitigated, and project progress occurs as planned.
- Interface closely with Operations and Field Development and Exploration functions, government and statuatory authorities and other third party entities such as JVs to ensure efficient project design and execution.
- Evaluate and assists in the negotiation of contractors’ additional cost and time variation orders and claims arising during the duration of the contract by liaising with Contract Engineers.
- Participate in the development of Company or Departmental procedures and guidelines and accepts special duties assigned to him from time to time by management related to work improvement initiatives.
- Support Qatari development activities by ensuring that Qatari Nationals receive the proper job training and development, in order to realize their full potential
