The Customer Care / A/R Representativer enhances the effectiveness of the branch by coordinating all central support operations. The majority of your time will be spent responding to customer inquiries and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for expediting customers orders and queries, working closely with our operations and sales staff. You will also be responsible for reviewing full details of a customers account as you interact with them, and ensure accounts receivable is current and current account details are up to date.
� High school Diploma or GED required
� A minimum of 2 years customer service experience
� 1-2 years experience in a collections environment an asset
Skills and Knowledge
� Proficient in MS Office products including Word, Excel, Access and Power Point
� Proficient with computer systems and utilizing Shred-it�s computer system to maintain a current database of accounts
� Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
� Excellent business communication skills required
� Excellent collaboration skills required
� Excellent follow-up skills are essential for timely, consistent follow-up with outstanding accounts
� Maintain a high level of professionalism while working with customers
� Must be accountable and be able to work with minimal supervision
� Proficiency in basic math and accounting skills
� Ability to perform 10 key at a proficiency level of 10,000 keystrokes per hour
� Typing skills at an accurate rate of 50 words per minute
� Ability to effectively work and communicate in a team environment and be customer service oriented
� Results and action oriented with a sense of urgency; motivated by success.
