My client is a UK brand steeped in history and heritage, long established on the UK high street, they are have expanded overseas and now have a huge global following. Offering exquisite products from womenswear to sofas, lighting to dog accessories. They are looking for a Head of Quality to oversee their homewares range, splitting your time between their London based head office and midlands and Wales sites.
As Head of Quality, you will be responsible for ensuring the product meets requirements and all processes are managed. Managing teams in three locations, travel will be involved. Main requirements will be supplier management, ensuring strong connections are made in order to get the product specifications correct first time. Experience in auditing and warehouse/ technical knowledge is required.
YOU MUST HAVE:
• Supplier management.
• Experience in homeware/furniture *is a must.
• People management skills; medium size teams.
• Overseeing the quality control journey from start to finish, commercially.
• Experience collaborating with internal departments; Buying, Design & Merchandising.
• Report analysing and writing, communicating to required departments.
• Knowledge of warehouse auditing processes.
DESIRABLE BEHAVIOURS
• Strong negotiating skills.
• Team management.
• Ability to communicate at a senior level.
• A strong eye for detail.
• Homewares/furniture experience
• Ability to manage the process from start to finish.
• Experience working in a similar role.
