FANTASTIC HERITAGE BRAND SEEKS A TALENT TECHNOLOGIST TO JOIN THEM IN FURNISHING THE HOMES OF THE BRITISH PUBLIC!
My client is a UK brand steeped in history and heritage, long established on the UK high street, they have expanded overseas and now have a huge global following. Offering exquisite products from womenswear to sofas, lighting to dog accessories. They are looking for a Furniture Technologist to oversee their homewares range, based within their London office.
As Furniture Technologist, you will be working alongside buyers in order to approve and develop a range that meets the brands standards and specifications. Day to day you will oversee the cycle time of the product development, keeping records of tests and working with suppliers to overcome any quality issues and ensure that products are meeting health and safety requirements.
YOU MUST HAVE:
• Experience in a similar role, working within a retail environment.
• Experience in furniture is a must.
• Knowledge of Quality, Legal and Safety requirements.
• Overseeing the quality control journey from start to finish, commercially.
• Experience in working alongside colleagues to achieve company set goals and targets.
• Report analysing and writing, communicating to required departments.
DESIRABLE BEHAVIOURS
• Strong negotiating skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to communicate at a senior level.
• A strong eye for detail.
• Furniture retail experience
• Ability to manage the process from start to finish.
