JOB SUMMARY
Works under general supervision to provide leadership in executing outsourcing strategies for multiple product lines in global cost effective regions.  Able to effectively manage multiple projects and deliver results.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  •     Must have in-depth knowledge of the entire Supply Chain process with emphasis on Sourcing and Procurement
  •     Must have working knowledge in manufacturing processes, manufacturing accounting, supplier development and negotiations, international trade, logistics
  •     Participate in Manufacturing Strategy planning and forecast global sourcing business plan
  •     Maintain overall metrics and visibility of progress / status for outsourcing projects to Manufacturing Leadership
  •     Facilitate scope and feasibility analysis of outsourcing projects and assign activities to International Global Sourcing Offices
  •     Project management of multi-region or New Product Development sourcing projects
  •     Engage and deploy technical professionals to assist in manufacturing knowledge transfer to support outsourcing and supplier development
  •     Provide support to Global Sourcing Offices in order to execute strategic negotiations and suppliers
  •     Assess new regions for cost effective sourcing
  •     Provide support to regional Global Sourcing teams and special projects
  •     Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level and in a timely and accurate manner
  •     Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Essential

  •     Minimum 5-7 years working experience in manufacturing with significant experience working with product engineering, procurement in an international supply environment
  •     Exceptional organizational abilities, including ability to organize and manage large volumes of date
  •     Ability to comprehend engineering designs and specifications
  •     Ability to interpret data and regulations
  •     Advanced Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  •     Familiarity with ERP / MRP processes
  •     Excellent verbal and written communication skill set in English


Preferred
    Demonstrated project management skills
    Experience in building and managing KPI’s

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, other business or technical related field, or its equivalent level of 10 years progressive experience

Preferred
    Engineering or technical degree with supply chain responsibilities
