Presently, WFT- Fishing & Rentals Divison is recruiting for a Field Sales Representative for Lloydminster, Alberta. The selected applicant will be required to manage company customer accounts relating to the sale of Fishing services and Rentals. They also will be required to promote, build, and maintain positive relationships with customers in order to grow the business. In this role, the incumbent will act as liaison between Weatherford's clients and operations as well Calgary Sales team. Additionally, Sales Representatives will represent Weatherford interests at various customer related functions and activities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  •     Personally grows existing customer accounts and relationships
  •     Prospects, develops and builds relationships with new accounts and develops additional contacts within existing accounts
  •     Focuses on growth of existing product lines with new accounts and increases share of market with existing accounts
  •     Develops strategies aimed at growing target accounts related to geography, market segment, product line or account resulting in revenue growth
  •     Demonstrates a clear track record of closing sales
  •     Provides, facilitates or ensures that technical support to clients and advises clients on specific rental equipment
  •     Provides feedback to the Sales Manager and Product Line Managers on competitive activities, pricing and product acceptance and keeps up to date records on sales calls, customer contacts, and details of meetings in a timely manner in the format required by Weatherford
  •     Supports company goals/ objectives and is a champion of continual process improvements and quality initiatives
  •     Safety minded individual and willingness for receiving both required and ongoing training as required
  •     Provides feedback on quality, safety, security, and environmental issues that may affect the business to the Sales Manager
  •     Account management of numerous accounts
  •     Assist billing clerks to acquire signatures for month end and job completions
  •     Cover Southern Saskatchewan and Western Manitoba on a rotational basis
  •     Frequent travel to customer and potential customer locations

Secondary Responsiblities

  •     Gain product knowledge of other Weatherford products and services
  •      Build internal relationships with peers and assist each other on client knowledge

    At least 5 years of technical oilfield and/or oilfield sales experience
    Experienced salesmanship capabilities with proven ability to manage accounts and close the sale
    Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain customer base relationships and ability to make cold sales calls
    Musts have an outgoing personality, relationship orientated, capable of networking in diverse situations showing entrepreneurcharacteristics
    Demonstrated Organizational, interpersonal, time-management and written/oral communication skills along with proficient use of personal computers and related software
    Completion of job specific required safety and quality training
