The successful candidate for the position of Sr. Electrical Engineer / Team Lead
will be a part of the Electrical Design Team, focused on management of design team and product development activities for Iron Derrickman® pipe handling systems.

Education
    Completion of an Electrical Engineering Degree from an accredited institution

Experience
    10+ years’ experience in a professional design environment, 2-5 years in a leadership role
    An understanding of PLC and Motion Control systems, electro-hydraulic system integration and panel construction
    Troubleshooting and technical support experience to assist service support of equipment
    Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and other regulatory codes
    Experience with Word, Excel, AutoCAD and Adobe Acrobat

Duties and Responsibilities
    Provide professional oversight of electrical/control system development
    Serve as technical lead for new product development projects
    Select electrical/electronic components for system integration
    Develop and maintain schematics, panel layouts, BOMS and technical specifications
    Write test plans to validate designs

Qualifications
    BsEE
    Professional Member of APEGGA with P.Eng designation
