The QC Lead aims to ensure that the product or service the organization provides is fit for purpose and meets both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations. Also coordinates the activities required to meet quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  •     Perform incoming inspection on raw material, where applicable
  •     Oversee the calibration process
  •     Back up for Quality Inspector
  •     New Employee Orientation
  •     Assisting with Quality Objectives to ensure that targets are achieved
  •     Assist defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
  •     Maintaining controls and documentation procedures
  •     Assist with managing the Non-conformance Reporting system
  •     Identify opportunities to improve production and reduce waste and risk
  •     Other duties as required
  •     Assist in conducting process audits throughout facility
  •     Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
  •     Participate in annual Management Review Meeting
  •     Working knowledge and practice of all Weatherford policies and procedures
  •     Follow safety rules and regulations including wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment


   
SKILLS

  •     ISO experience preferred
  •     Sound judgment and positive decision making skills essential
  •     Strong organizational skills to handle large quantities of paperwork
  •     Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  •     Strong computer skills
  •     Strong organizational skills with attention paid to urgency
  •     Must be able to prioritize effectively
  •     ISO experience preferred
