Cathcart Energy are recruiting for an Electrical Service Engineer for onshore Wind Turbines in Ireland near Cavan.

The role will involve servicing and maintenance of Turbines in Wind Farms around Cavan. You will be one of the first members of a new team and will therefore need to have experience in a wind turbine maintenance role and you will have excellent career development prospects as this team grows.

You will need to live within an hours commute of Cavan or be prepared to relocate there. The Turbines you will be working on are in this area and there is on call work which is why you will need to live locally.

This role will primarily require Electrical Engineering skills and experience ideally with heavy industrial equipment. If you have Mechanical experience as well this will be a great asset, but it is not required and my client won’t consider candidates who do not have Electrical experience.

The salary on offer is highly competitive with a good bonus for overtime work and on call as well as a generous pension.

You will need to have a driving licence for this role.
