One of Australia's leading E-commerce websites currently have an opening for a Senior Developer in the Front-End space.

This organisation are about to hit the next level and have plans to grow significantly over the course of 2017. They have already added 5 to the IT team since January with the view to continue, due to the current success of the product offering. If you could be interested in getting on board with an award-winning company that will provide you with the opportunity to get your hands on the latest tech in one of the most trafficked sites in Sydney then this could be the position for you.

This organisation drive innovation from the ground up running hackathons, meetups and sending their dev teams to conferences so it would be a great place for you if you like consistent learning and development.

What’s involved?

In this position, you will join a Front-End team to play a Senior role in the Re-write of this E-commerce site. The current software team consists of 20 people but the Front-End team size is 3, so the person that's successful in landing this role will play an integral part of the success in this project.

The person in this role will bridge the gap between the design team and the software team so will be responsible for picking up the requirements of the new design and translating that into code. The organisation are keen to find someone that has worked with LESS and SASS in the past and takes pride in pumping out pixel perfect CSS.

JavaScript exposure will also play a prominent part in this role. Angular4 is the framework of choice for this re-write so you will also be expected to get involved with the JavaScript development.

What should you have?

 +5 years commercial experience in Front-End web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (Angular), Typescript and Webpack.

Web interaction design best practices, with a focus on consistency and usability.

Ability and drive to create pixel perfect CSS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You must have the right to work in Australia.
