Job

We are looking for a MySQL DBA to provide the technical domain and leadership required to effectively deliver high-quality, timely solutions that meet business needs with a focus on scalability, high availability, and performance. The MySQL DBA's primary focus is to research, evaluate, plan, design, allocate, implement, support and optimize all aspects of the data tier.

 

Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience designing, developing, tuning, optimizing, deploying and updating MySQL instances in a high volume transactional environment with critical uptime requirements
  • Experience implementing asynchronous MySQL replication
  • Experience with a variety of different schema strategies and models and the circumstances under which they would be most appropriate
  • Experience architecting within AWS
  • Experience troubleshooting performance bottlenecks via innotop, innodb status, etc
  • Experience working in an agile environment where progress must be made in continuous, iterative cycles
  • Experience designing, implementing, and testing disaster recovery plans
  • Experience designing and implementing data archival strategies
