EUC Solutions Architect – End User Computing
Prestigious London based client requires an EUC Solutions Architect to produce end to end designs covering the full End User Compute environment i.e. Desktop/Laptop Builds, Systems Management, Application Delivery, Mobile Device Management. The EUC Solutions Architect role will be varied and cover many technologies, so a broad range of solution design and delivery experience is essential and must include large enterprise customers. A large part of the role will include ensuring effective integration with the broader IT environment therefore full appreciation of associated infrastructure and core services is required i.e. Network, Directory Services, Security, Collaboration.
• The EUC Solution Architect role will cover the design and oversight of build, test and implementation of all aspects of the workplace technology, working to high standards of quality and delivery. It will include working with all areas of the team with regards to planning and implementation of major project work with an EUC/End User Computing deliverable.
• Requirements Management, Design, Presentation of the end to end EUC Design/ End User Computing design. Ensure the Design meets Security and Compliance requirements and manage the ratification through client and customer defined governance processes
• You must demonstrate comparable EUC/End User computing experience working in a Global Enterprise environment. Manage customer stakeholders and provide technical leadership to Engineering and Delivery resources
Essential:
• Extensive experience in a Solution Architect role working with large to medium size Enterprise and Service Providers to provide technical solutions in the network infrastructure and services space
• A successful track record of leading and delivering large scale and complex End User Computing/EUC transformations
• Excellent client facing meeting and presentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Help produce technical proposal documentation to articulate the business and technical benefit. Flexible approach to working hours given Global nature of the Project
• Design and implementation (in a Solution Architecture capacity) of Modern Management solutions i.e. Intune and Workspace One
• Windows 10 / MAC / IOS Design and deployment experience including Build definition and automated deployment
• Full appreciation, to design level, of integration requirements for Active Directory, Network, Storage, Cloud (Azure), Security etc.
• MDM/MAM Design and Implementation
• Ability to support Operational process design to ensure efficiency post transformation including release management, service management, incident/problem management, Evergreen. Detailed understanding of application readiness and associated technical and operational implications
• Design and Implementation experience covering the various virtualization options both from a core platform and Application delivery perspective
• Appreciation of Office 365
