Interim SHE Manager - Health, Safety & Environment/SHEQ/HSE/EHS
Prestigious Gloucester based client requires an Interim SHE Manager to lead incident investigations across the factory and ensure Company safety policy, rules and procedures are understood and followed in all areas. The SHE Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all incidents are reported and analysed using the proper procedures and resultant actions are implemented as well as be responsible for ensuring that the Site meets all regulations with respect to HSE. This in an interim role. The SHE Manager will perform regular audits / safety walkabouts with Management Teams and carry out Risk and COSHH assessments, managing the assessment database and ensuring all assessments are current and up to date. Solid experience of Health, Safety & Environments management /SHEQ/HSE/EHS. The Interim SHE Manager will co-ordinate and facilitate Preliminary Hazard Assessments, advise on the implications of existing and forthcoming National and EU Safety and Environmental legislation on the Europe manufacturing sites and recommend methods of implementation.
Essential:
• NEBOSH diploma
• Detailed knowledge of SHE Legalisation and SHE guidelines
• Extensive background in Health, Safety & Environment/SHEQ/HSE/EHS
• Fully trained and competent in carrying out Risk and COSHH Assessments
• Good knowledge of Safe Operating Limits and Task Hazard Analysis processes
• Competent in performing Accident analysis
• ISO Lead Auditor
• Significant manufacturing background
• Able to build and motivate a large team, as well as coach it to success.
• Occasional travel within Europe.
