Communications Manager – Engagement
Prestigious London based client requires an accomplished Communications Manager to deliver a coherent engagement communications strategy. The Communications Manager will be putting in place feedback actions monitoring the effectiveness of engagement activity, reviewing and developing existing engagement /communication channels and emerging engagement needs and working with the communications team to develop communication materials, messaging and lines to take. The Communications Manager will play an integral role building and maintaining relationships, develop and own a series of engagement approaches and channels giving stakeholders a clear voice in the delivery of the programme vision as well as be responsible for analysing stakeholder groups, communicating effectively to manage their expectations.
** Due to the nature of this project, valid SC Clearance is required, although the client will also sponsor candidates**
Essential
• Proven track record of stakeholder engagement, analysis, tracking and relationship management in the Government sector
• Solid communications management background
• Proven experience of facilitating meetings and workshops with people from all levels of seniority
• Good experience of cultural, strategic and tactical business issues, and aligning digital and technology strategies with business goals
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people.
• Experience of developing and delivering staff engagement plans in a technology environment
• Experience of managing a variety of stakeholder engagement tools, including the use of online channels and good use of MS excel and other MS applications.
• An understanding of the government's digital and technology transformation agenda, and why the government is changing the way it does digital and technology projects
• Previous experience with stakeholder mapping and analysis to inform communications and relationship management.
