Your role
We are now looking for a Quality Manager to make improvements and secure the quality of our business unit. The Role as Quality Manager gives you great opportunities to develop the operation and the quality function. Your responsibility is to secure that we have quality for our maintenance production, quality assured suppliers and projects, as well as an efficient and adapted management system that is developed to support our operation.
The quality organization is responsible for rules for Military and Civil aviation, RML-V6 EASA Part-145, is compliant regarding quality.
You role includes the following duties:
- Manage and develop the quality group within the business unit. It is a small group which means your role will also consist of operational work, for example performing both internal and external audits .
- Manage, coordinate and develop the quality work within the business unit.
- Acting as the business unit’s representative in quality issues according to definition within ISO 9001.
- Manage the business unit’s quality council
- Act as contact in quality issues towards both our interal and external customers.
- Compile and report results from quality measurements and audits.
The role as Quality Manager is both strategical and operational; you are expected to contribute with business acumen and commitment that stretch beyond your role.
Your profile
The position as Quality Manager involves contact with many other organizations, both internally and externally. Therefore, to be successful in this role you have to be able to build good relationships and cooperate well with others. This includes being perceptive and a good listener. You need to have drive and be able to structure the organization's quality work. You should be able to analyze different information and show good judgement when making statements and decisions.
To thrive in this role we would like to see that you have experience with suppliers or customers, project management, quality management systems and a higher technical degree, preferably with a quality focus. If you have any previous management experience, it is an advantage. It is meritorious with knowledge and experience in RML, Lean/Sig sigma.
You have:
- Deep knowledge within the quality area and experience of internal and supplier audits.
- An ability to easily understand requirements and act on an appropriate level according to them
- Training within ISO 9001
- Fluent English and Swedish in both speech and wiritng
- Knowledge about Rules for Military and civil aviation, for example, EASA Part-145, RML-V6 and EN9100 is meritorious.
What you will be a part of
Business unit Gripen Support manages Gripen business within Support and Services and provides a focal point for customers and partners. We provide support for the Gripen system including a range of products and services e.g. technical support, maintenance, ground support equipment, component repair, services for advanced electronic systems, as well as advanced logistics supply services. We also offer maintenance concepts as well as production and implementation of various parts of other maintenance solutions to customers in all domains.
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
Location for this position can be either in Arboga or in Linköping, and travelling may occur both domestically and internationally.
