Site Manager (Bridge) (SM - pooley bridge) Penrith, England
DCS Recruitment are looking for an experienced civil engineering site manager to undertake a bridge project in area of Pooley Bridge, Cumbria.
This will be working on behalf of a reputable civil engineering contractor based in the North west. Who are specialised in delivering vital infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, structures, hydro-power and rail for more than 25 years.
This project is the most prestigious job in Cumbria and will be an excellent job to have on the CV as this bridge will be the first vehicular stainless steel bridge in the country, involving substantial temp works, cofferdams, lifting,on-site steel fabrication, RC works.
Approximate start/end dates: May 2019 - March 2020
Ideal candidate must have the below to be considered:
- CSCS card
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- HNC/HND degree OR equivalent qualification
- Temp works coordinator
- Must have bridge build/replacement experience at management level
Previous experience and knowledge of traffic management would be beneficial also.You will be required to place orders with sub-contractors, liaise with designers, write risk assessments and method statements, HSEQ procedures, permits and full organisation of site files. You will be required to a manage a supervisor and liaise with alongside other stakeholders.
Our client would look at lodging contributions for the right candidate if they are from out of the area.
