DCS Recruitment currently seek PTS qualified Slinger Signaller for the refurbishment of a railway flyover bridge
Initial works to be done are parapet demolition trials and investigation works, on possession work.
Comprised of 3 teams working 8 hours.
The possession will start on Friday night around 21:30 and will finish on the Monday at 08:00am
You must also be available for 5th August, so client can train you on the fall arrest system and get familiarized with their operations.
Once the project starts fully, the projects duration is 2.5-3 year’s work.
***ALL Roles will require PTS (Personal Track Safety), CSCS & In-Date Fit To Work Medical Certificate***
Full PPE non branded (orange jacket and trousers)
Training to be potentially provided for: Manual Handling, Working at heights, Abrasive Wheels, Use of Harness.

Rates :
Days £18
Nights – time and quarter
Weekends – 1st 4hrs on sat = time and half, after 4hrs sat and all day Sundays = double time
The operatives will have a valid CPCS card. Their responsibility will be to control
movement of the machine during the lifting operation. They will make sure that an exclusion zone is
installed and that no-one is entering the work area during the lift. They will check that the lifting
equipment is safe for use. Any issue will be reported to their supervisor. When no lifting operation is
required, the slinger/signaller will assist the team and participate in other general tasks (housekeeping,
manual handling etc…).
