Events Manager (LH - EVENTSMAN) City of London, England
My London based banking client are seeking an experienced Events Manager for a 12 month contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will be skilled with the below:
• Snr Events Manager will work within the EMEA team, covering Europe, Middle East and Africa *however candidates do not necessarily need prior Middle East and Africa experience. Europe experience is a must
• Typically 150 events a year – exhibitions, conferences, C level roundtables, networking events etc
• You will own your own portfolio of events with minimal support
• 5-8 years experience
• Own the event from start to finish; take briefs from stakeholders, set up registration websites, venue, catering etc.
• Experience of Cvent, or any other event registration platform experience needed
• Great to find someone with venue knowledge across Europe, they already have a vast preferred supplier list for caterers etc
• Europe locations typically: Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Madrid, Dublin. Africa – South Africa
• Manage own budget, and manage multiple events at one time. You will work within a team of 10 and may need to help others with their events too where necessary
• This role is due to increased demand, busy period, growing the team to accommodate busy time
• Financial services experience useful
• Travel roughly every 2 months
• No option to work from home
