Project Manager

IT Project Manager Summary:

Signature Consultants has an opportunity for an IT Project Manager.  In this role the candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of all IT projects in a fast-paced enterprise priority driven environment with changing business priorities. The candidate will manage multiple IT infrastructure and applications projects and develop/execute detailed effort based project work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports. The incumbent will be responsible to manage and mitigate risks and issues with consistency and initiative.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and deliver projects through adherence to all IT project standards, defining and managing the project through Agile SDLC and associated IT processes
  • Deploy quality and timely within budget, as per business specification; effectively monitor project risks, and employ mitigation strategies where appropriate
  • Manage the project team, demonstrating the ability to coach, mentor and positively influence others
  • Build and maintain an understanding of business processes and products across the enterprise, establishing strong working relationships with counterparts across functional areas
  • Manage the Business Analyst and Quality Assurance IT teams

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with mainstream project management tools for running an Agile SDLC
  • 10+ years of IT project management or related function in a global IT environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or a combination of equivalent work experience and education required
  • Passion for all things technology including IT processes and project management
  • Passion for people
  • Understanding of the Agile SDLC
  • Ability to create project status documents / dashboards to executive leadership
  • Excellent planning, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with multiple teams across the globe
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification) is a plus
