OVERVIEW OF ROLE

Qualitative Project Managers work across a clearly defined range of “classical” project types, taking ownership of specific parts of a project and progress them under the guidance of senior members of the team.

This person will spend 95% of his/her time on Qualitative skill related activities primarily in addressing clients’ brand and shopper insights needs as they relate to Hispanic consumers in the US. This includes consumers across all ranges of the acculturation spectrum.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Developing & maintaining a clear understanding of the purpose of Qualitative research and devising approaches to straightforward Qualitative projects using current tools and methodologies.

·Delivering specific parts of Qualitative projects e.g. recommending the appropriate method (i.e. in-depth, group, online qualitative, ethnography, etc.), design recruitment specifications, writing discussion guides, creating analysis templates, conducting focus groups and in-depth interviews etc.)

·         Briefing the Operations Team appropriately and liaising with them throughout the project to ensure the highest quality of respondent participation, project management, and data.

·         Moderate comfortably and effectively in Spanish and English.

·         Brief your own analysis and distillation of insight and pulling this together in presentation format.

·         Under leadership of senior team members, effectively supporting clients’ strategic objectives by building beyond what was heard in field to identify strategic implications.

·         Listening and communicating directly, in an effective & thoughtful manner, with both junior and senior clients.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

A highly energetic and resourceful team player who is a polished project ‘doer’ and moderator, looking to develop their problem-solving and creative thinking skills to deliver cutting edge solutions as part of a close and highly experienced team who love a challenge.

Strong experience: with 4-5yrs experience ideally agency side, showing a solid understanding of Qualitative methodologies and keen to develop their skills further in new methodological approaches and analytic frameworks.  Experience conducting complex ethnographic research projects in a consumer setting, ideally in global markets; candidates without consumer ethnographic experience will not be considered. – Must be fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal).

True team spirit: thrives on working as part of an enthusiastic and energetic team, inspiring others and keen to learn new skills from other disciplines to drive thinking further

Intrepid outlook: have sought to broaden their horizons via work, social or personal exploits, showing true grit and a desire to push themselves outside of their comfort zone. Languages would be an additional asset, although not compulsory
